Familia Souldiez Vol 34 - Moments Remembered

Been one of those months ! The computer gremlins got to me just when it was my turn as producer; so all I could do was chase the crew to send their tracks and rely on my buddies to help out with the final production. Getting harder and harder to crack the whip over these vatos - many of the familia are missing this month. RB even had to pull together a cover in the G Man's absence. And two of the keener members sent me a duplicate track so that didn't help the numbers either ! But, as usual, the prudent ones had sent a few backup tunes so it all came good in the end. In fact, despite the last-minute flurry, it turned out pretty darned good to my ears; hope you all feel the same ! Thanks again to the family members who contributed; and better luck to DustyRose next month.  I'm sure she'll have Vol 35 all licked into shape in time for Christmas. Mello

Familia Souldiez Vol 32 - Watching & Waiting

Some of the Familia have gone A.W.O.L. this month, including our cover artist G MAN. So you'll just have to put up with my cover style this time; I'd never try to emulate the G MAN's cover arte ! The Familia are so in tune that two brothers sent me the same track; but, true to form, they also sent me some backups too, so all came good in the end. We hope this keeps up the standards; it sure is a pleasant listen to my ears ! Let us know - it's hard to get the motivation to organize these regular drops and keep digging month after month. Familia Souldiez Vol 31 - Can't Stand Losing You

Time for the last of the summer wine, another volume of Familia Souldiez ! Being vacation time, there are a few of the familia missing in action. A special thought goes out to our brother Chi-Town who is recovering from a proverbial pain in the b*tt (a literal pain in the leg !) and had to miss out this time round. Hope to hear from you next month, carnal !

G MAN turned up trumps yet again with another great cover - I certainly couldn't stand losing either of those two cover girls ! The usual suspects pulled through to bring us some more great tracks for this series. The familia who could contribute came through early this month so I've been listening to this set for a couple weeks, trying to nail down the sequence. Like all good compilations it really got firmer for me the more I played it. Hope you feel the same way !
