from Southern California, backed by a 12 piece band, from background vocalist to a four piece horn section, their unique style and sound sets them apart from the rest.
04. Angel Sabroso - Your'e Still A Young Man
Angel "Sabroso" Sepulveda was born in East Los Angelas CA., of Puerto Rican and Mexican descent. By the age of 5 Angel was performing at fiestas and family parties. He would save all his tips from these fiestas and his allowance that his Dad would give him for Music Lessons of percussion, piano and voice, but in Jr. Highe he fell in love with the vocal styles of the singer of Thee Midniter's Mr. Willie "G" Garcia. Now he was all about singing career because of Willie "G", he continued with music in Jr. College to recieve his AA in music in 1972.

1980 - Fantasy Created by "Fat" Larry James, the drummer and vocalist of this 10 man band was born on August 2, 1949 in Philadelphia, he died on December 5th, 1987, thus sealing the band's fate. They were most successful in the 1980's.
10. Hank Castro - Never Gonna Give You Up
From East LA, He was a member of the Majestics and also a former lead singer of Thee Midniters, he still sings today.

1964 - B side of Angelito
12. Alienz - Chicanita
13. Royal Jesters - My Love, My Love

14. The Pasadenas - Enchanted Lady
1988 - Columbia Records
They are a R&B / pop group from the UK who didn't belong in the 80s. The band was caught in a time warp, they bounced between 50s doo wop, 60s Motown and early 70s funk and R&B. This song was written by Mr. (18 With A Bullet) Peter Wingfield.
15. Third Creation - Rolling Down A Mountainside
1973 - Motown, This original version didn't get much attention as Main Ingredient or Isaac Hayes covers, but a keeper for sure......
16. Marvin & Johnny - Let's Get Together
1957 - Aladdin Label, from Los Angeles, Ca.
Before this duo it was in a duo called Marvin and Jesse (Jesse Belvin)
